Alcohol free wheat beers, as you may expect, contain a higher proportion of wheat than other beers. Normally around 30-70% of the grain. Wheat beers often make use of yeasts which impart a specific flavour in the beer not found in other styles. As there is more protein in wheat they can also be very cloudy, the protein forming a haze which is more pronounced when cold. The majority of our wheat beers come from Germany.
